Review

The Parador del Angel is a small guesthouse, right in the heart of the Chacras de Coria region. It makes for a quirky and interesting place to spend a few nights while exploring the surrounding fields and vines. Owned by one of the top Argentinean artists and her husband artwork is a real feature of the decoration (which changes quite regularly!). A real treat of a retreat!

If you are after somewhere that is both interesting and will allow you utter seclusion, then the Parador del Angel is it. With a no children policy it has a quiet and calm air while offering simple luxury.

Originally constructed using adobe brick in 1907, much of the Parador and buildings are original from when they were first constructed which adds a nice touch to the feel of the place and, with exposed wall running through the centre of the property, it also provides extra privacy to this small property.

While the Parador del Angel is not spread out, they have cleverly designed enough space for a pool and relaxation area where it is still possible to watch a movie or some TV in the evening. On the whole though, the emphasis here is on peace and quiet and seclusion. The rooms, while simple, have a historic and comfortable feel to them and, in summer, are also nice and cool due to the adobe brickwork.

We really like the Parador del Angel and would put it up there with the better properties in the Chacras region.

Historical building, interesting artwork and feel, good service, secluded

Could be a bit quiet
