Atacama Desert

Hotel Desertica

A former farm house and orchard, Hotel Desertica, along with Terrantai Lodge, is our pick of the hotels that do not offer the all-inclusive packages in San Pedro de Atacama. This 12-room property prides itself on sustainability and respect to the land & culture of the area.

Terrantai Lodge

This is a superb option for anyone looking to stay in a historic, intimate lodge that is more boutique bed & breakfast than luxury resort. Terrantai Lodge was originally a 19th century house that, due to its age and proximity to San Pedro’s church, remains part of the designated Historic Centre of the town.

From there they went up to the desertscapes of Atacama and back to the coastal city at Valparaiso. It was quite a trip!

Cyril and Brent's trip to Argentina

Cyril and Brent asked us to put together an itinerary for them to visit the northern desertlands of Chile and then head into the weaving districts to the northwest of Argentina.
