Travel Tips

Passports and visas

For those coming from Europe the requirements are quite simple

You do require a passport to travel into anywhere in South America and, currently, as a US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealander or Western European, you will be issued with a 90-day tourist visa on arrival free of charge.

However, due to recent regulations charging Argentines an entry fee into certain countries, there is a new fee that is being made applicable for residents from North America (predominantly) and so this is very well worth keeping an eye on.

As it stands today the fee is called a "reciprocity" fee and is applied to US citizens visiting Argentina. The fee can be paid in advance through the below link and the amount is U$D160 per person and this will allow travel to Argentina for the length of your passport.

Please feel free to ask us about these fees as they can and do change.
