One of the most popular requests we receive is from couples who are looking to visit Argentina for their honeymoon and want to end with a few days at the beach. With no beaches of real note within Argentina, this itinerary combines the glaciers, wine region and waterfalls of Argentina with the stunning beaches of Southern Brazil and the lively nightlife of Rio... giving you the best of both worlds!

London to Buenos Aires

Fly overnight from London to Buenos Aires direct on British Airways departing 2155 arriving 0735 the following morning.

2-4

Buenos Aires

Met on arrival into Ezeiza airport and transferred to the Palermo district of Buenos Aires to stay at the Legado Mítico Hotel for 3 nights on a B&B basis. Spend the rest of the day exploring the area with its numerous boutiques, restaurants and cafés or head over to the centre to visit the main square and the famous Presidential Palace, La Casa Rosada.

5-7

El Calafate

Met and transferred to the airport for the flight down to El Calafate. Met on arrival and transferred to Hotel Alto Calafate to stay for 3 nights on a B&B basis. This hotel benefits from some of the most spectacular lake views in the area and using this as a base, you will spend the next 3 days taking in the rugged beauty of Patagonia. Includes a full-day visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier and Los Glaciares National Park on day 6, including transfers and park entrance fees.

8-10

Mendoza

Transferred in the morning back to the airport for the flight up to Buenos Aires and through to Mendoza in the centre of the wine region. Met on arrival and transferred to the luxurious Entre Cielos to stay for 3 nights on a B&B basis. Set in the heart of the Lujan de Cuyo wine valley, the hotel is a great base for sampling some of the best food and wine the region has to offer. With its own spa and swimming pool it has excellent facilities and is a favourite for honeymoon couples.

The Iguazú Falls

Transferred to the airport for the flight up to Iguazú. Met on arrival and transferred to the Loi Suites to stay for 2 nights on a B&B basis. Set in the midst of rainforest gardens, the Loi Suites is the pick of the hotels in the area for visiting the Falls. Includes a full day excursion to the Argentine side of the Falls on day 12 and a half-day excursion to the Brazilian side of the Falls on the morning of day 13.

Florianópolis

After your morning visit to the Brazilian side of the Falls, transfer directly to Foz do Iguaçu airport for the afternoon flight to São Paulo and through to Florianópolis. Met on arrival and transferred to the superb Ponta dos Ganchos in Santa Catarina to stay for 3 nights on a B&B basis. This luxury beachfront resort is the ultimate romantic getaway and guarantees complete privacy and seclusion on one of Brazil's most spectacular coastlines.

Rio de Janeiro

Met and transferred to the airport for the morning flight up to Rio de Janeiro. Met on arrival and transferred to the stylish boutique hotel Casa Mosquito to stay for 3 nights on a B&B basis. Located on a hill between Ipanema and Copacabana, the hotel is well positioned for exploring Rio's "Zona Sul" and has one of the best rooftop terraces in the city! Spend the next three days soaking up the beautiful views from Corcovado and Sugar Loaf and watching Rio's famous sunsets at Arpoador or Bar Urca.

Rio de Janeiro to London

Met and transferred to Rio de Janeiro International Airport for the direct flight back to London Heathrow with British Airways.
