For those that are interested in what makes Argentina a totally unique destination, then these two elements are integral. This well paced itinerary takes in a few of the best regions of the country, offering enough time to really get to know and understand each. Buenos Aires is certainly the centre for the main bulk of the cultural heritage of the country, but a day or so spend wandering through the bustling streets of Mendoza is also highly recommended, as is sampling a few of the outstanding restaurants in and around the lake district.

Fly to Buenos Aires

Fly to Buenos Aires international airport and met on arrival.

2-5

Buenos Aires

Met on arrival and transferred to the Mine Hotel to stay for 4 nights on a B&B basis. Located in the Palermo district of the city, you are right in the heart of the most vibrant area, with plenty of interesting shops, small squares and coffee houses. In such a vibrant and exciting city there are plenty of activities to occupy your time such as a Tango show or looking at the many interesting buildings dotted around the city. - includes a 4 hour city tour on day 3.

6-8

Bariloche and the Lake District

Transferred in the morning to the airport and fly to Bariloche. Met on arrival and transferred to the Peninsula Petit to stay for 3 nights on a B&B basis. This stunning area of Argentina has long been a favourite of ours and is the perfect place to soak up a little atmosphere and get out into nature. Peninsula Petit is a great little hotel and offers the perfect retreat at the end of the day. - includes a full day trekking with lunch on day 7

9-11

Mendoza

Transferred in the morning back to the airport in time for the flight up to Mendoza, the centre of the Argentine wine growing district. Met on arrival and transferred to the superb Club Tapiz to stay for 3 nights on a B&B basis. Using the hotel as your base you will have the time to take in some of the food and wine of this great region. the hotel itself is a fantastic option as it is set right in its own vines, with a superb restaurant and swimming pool…you need not leave!

12

Buenos Aires

Transferred in the morning back to the airport for the short flight back to Buenos Aires. Met and transferred to the Mine Hotel to stay for the night on a B&B basis. You will have the afternoon to relax in the hotel, catch up on any last minute shopping or eat that last steak before your flights home the following day!

Fly home

Transferred to the International Airport to connect onto your international flights home.
